Why Do You Need to Choose Mobile Websites Over Mobile Apps?

By Gunjan Singh

In the world leading to technologies, there are many mobile users over the desktop and it is important for the organizations to knock the door of mobile platforms. However, the biggest concern is to decide whether to make a mobile website or to launch a mobile app. The decision completely depends on upon the nature of business and purpose to choose one of them or perhaps both.

To make a rational decision, you are required to understand the meaning of both at first. Mobile websites are similar to any other website which consist browser-based HTML pages linked together and accessed over the internet (for mobile Wi-Fi or 3G or 4G connections).

Mobile websites also display content, information, graphics and data like other standard websites. They have added features like click to call and location-based mapping.

On the other hand, mobile apps are the actual applications which are required to download and install on your mobile to use them. The users have to go through the mobile apps store to download the app where the downloading may fetch data and information from the internet.

The mobile websites are considered better due to some additional benefits. These are the following advantages to opt for websites:

Availability: The sites are available instantly as you enter the URL in the browser while applications take time and data to download and install first.

Compatibility: A website is the best way to reach all the users. Whether they are using android or IOS or window, WWW is for the whole world. Apps are limited to the different operating systems.

Upgradability: When the owner of the site updates any changes, the users can enjoy the updated version with an ease while, updating an app is a hectic task for users.

Sharing: The sharing of a URL is convenient while sharing an app requires another specific app. Instead, sharing a link on any social media platform is one click task.

Time and Money: The mobile website development is considerably better money and time saver than development of an application, particularly if you need to make a presence on various platforms.

Further steps: Launching an application on the stores is not enough to make a presence on platforms. It requires compatibility issues, ongoing development, upgrades and testing which is more expensive than launching an app.

Applications are only considerable for interactive games, regular usage or personalization and moreover when it doesn't require internet connection for usage.

Neuro Linguistic Programming: Your Map to Happiness, Success and Confidence in Your Life

By Dawood A Khan

Neuro-linguistic has been considered a training language of the mind to control and reprogram it to achieve the goals. NLP techniques are getting popular as a popular tool to facilitate learning, training, sales, and business, professional and personal development.

However, finding a right source that offers practical exercises and comprehensive detail about NLP is still a painful task.

Neuro-linguistic programming by Randy Johnson is a perfect addition for those who were confused by the theoretical based explanatory material on NLP and stopped implementing all the techniques considering it a purely professional thing they cannot practice.

Johnson's NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING is a comprehensive, research-based discussion on NLP, considering every possible question that clients, readers and potential users may have in their mind.

This book covers all the practical content with the aim of providing the most workable techniques anyone can implement. The writer is so conscious about "how to do it", that is why the first chapter of the book is about "Basic NLP Techniques".

The next chapter is the prelude to the first one as it deliberately explains "how to control the mind" using different techniques and exercises.

All techniques are comprehensively explained that anyone can start the implementation right after reading it. Since NLP is only effective when it is practiced, it is necessary to have effective exercises with theory.

The focus of the writer is straight into teaching the right way to control and train mind to achieve the goal.

In the third chapter of the book, the writer talks about how you can explore the hidden talents of your mind by stretching its capabilities and increase the motivation towards "self-believe" (discussed in next chapter).

The chapter is all about "setting goals" and "motivation and fixing your habits".

The writer has dedicated a complete chapter to "goal settings and achievement" and "improving communication" that can help in setting and achieving the goals. The writer keeps the motivation levels up and talks about fears, phobias and building confidence because motivation can help defeat the fears and phobia. But it is very important that our brain should learn the language of motivation much more than it holds the words, "fears and phobias".

According to Randy, health and well-being is a pillar to build a strong base of happy and successful life. A week soul, negative mind, and unhealthy body can harness the growth of an individual.

All 12 chapters are connected to each other so precisely that after reading the whole book, anyone can successfully start practicing NLP techniques to achieve their goals.

At the end of the book, the writer includes some effective meta-programs to engage the attention of the reader in achieving a real skill through NLP.

The challenge for the book was to restrict to the practical exposure of NLP technique. And the writer significantly progresses to fulfill the desired needs, which leads to a successful completion of NLP book.

The best part of the e-book is its engaging and motivational voice. It's a pleasure to read and I would recommend it to everyone who want "happiness, success and confidence in their life".

World Global Network Review - Should You Join?

By Jaime Soriano

World Global Network Review
world global network logo
So over the past couple of months, there's been a company that's been popping up everywhere on Social Media. The company is called World Global Network. Now if you're reading this, you're probably looking for information before becoming a distributor. If that's the case, look no further because in this WGN Review, I'm going to cover the essential details you'll need before joining. I'll go into the company and product but most of all I'll dive into the actual business opportunity. Now before proceeding, I want to disclose that I'm not a WGN distributor nor am I affiliated with them in any way. In fact, it really doesn't matter to me whether you join or not. This is important to know because you're not going to get a biased perspective from me. You're going to get a truly unbiased World Global Network Review.

So first things first, let's go into the company. Founded in 2011, WGN has been growing by leaps and bounds in markets outside of North America. From the information I've seen, it seems that Asia is probably the strongest market for the company. With that said, the company recently launched in the US. The company has 15 offices worldwide and operates in over 195 countries so there's truly a global opportunity should you decide to become a distributor. The company sells wearable technology through a Network Marketing business model. The wearable technology is called HELO and it's like Fitbit on steroids. It monitors steps like Fitbit but it also monitors blood pressure, heart rate, ECG/EKG, breath rate, emotions, fatigue, sleep quality and more. As a parent, I was most impressed with the SOS feature that allows one to hit a panic button on their HELO which will notify your loved ones that you're in trouble and send out your current GPS position. Imagine your kids wearing their HELO and being one buttons away from letting you know they need help. That's pretty cool! Another cool feature is Remote Monitoring which allows you to see vital signs of your loved ones that are wearing the technology. Overall, wearable technology seems to be picking up traction so joining a business that allows you to get in front of this global trend might be a good idea.

Now let's dive into the WGN compensation plan. There are actually several ways to make money but for simplicity I'll go into the 4 main ways that stuck out to me when I reviewed the information. The first way is the Fast Sales Bonus where you can earn a 10% commission on products you sell. The second way is Binary Commissions where you can earn up to 21% on your lesser volume leg. If you're not familiar with Binary Compensation Plans, you have to build a right team and a left team. Each week the company calculates the volume on both your teams and pays you commissions on your lesser volume leg. Make sure you review the official compensation plan document so you see what ranks you have to hit to earn higher percentages on Binary Commissions. For example, you have to be at the highest rank to earn 20%. The third way is Check Match. Based on your rank, you can earn between 1% and 10% Check Match on the Binary Commissions of distributors you have on your first 10 levels. If you're a strong recruiter and builder, a huge portion of your income can potentially come from Check Match. The fourth way I want to cover is the Millionaire Pool. When you hit President Millionaire you'll earn up to 1% on this pool. There's several other bonuses that are on the table including Car Bonus, Diamond Tour Bonus and Luxury Bonus. Make sure you review the compensation plan to get a full understanding if you're serious about joining.

Should you get started in World Global Network? Well... that's really up to you. It certainly looks like they are entering a phase of momentum and they are attracting solid leaders. Wearable technology is the wave of the future and the compensation plan is very lucrative. Just make sure you look for a good sponsor that has the ability and time to give you the training and support you need. With all that said, those things I mentioned will have little impact on your actual success as a distributor. Sure it helps to have a credible company, great product and solid compensation plan. But the reality is your success will depend heavily on your ability to generate leads for your business. If you have a steady flow of fresh leads, you'll have the ability to sponsor new reps into your team consistently over time. This is why I recommend Attraction Marketing. If you can brand yourself online and get leads online, and you follow a strong proven business system, there's no telling how prosperous your business can be.

Success with your business requires a working knowledge of personal branding and lead generation. Learn to build your World Global Network downline by being an Alpha Networker both offline and online.

The History of Pokemon - How Did Pokemon Become Popular?

By Zachary Moyer

Pokeball
Pokeball
The history of Pokemon began with one single japan man named Satoshi Tajiri. It was his hobby. Over time he decided to put his idea of catching creatures into practice, to give children the same thrills he had as a child of catching insects and tadpoles. Tajiri and friends worked a lot of hours on designs and Tajiri even went with unpaid hours to make his dreams come true for the game. It nearly drove partners bankrupt, and several employees quit due to financial conditions. The first Pokemon games, Pokemon red and green, came to Japan on February 27, 1996, which fulfilled Tajiri's dreams. Because of the success rate in Japan with the Pokemon games, they released it overseas.

The anime, as well as Pokemon Yellow, marked Pikachu as the most popular and recognized creature in Pokemon history, turning it into the franchise's mascot. This led to a small spin-off game called Hey You, Pikachu!, which was released in Japan on December 12, 1998, and in North America on November 6, 2000. This was a virtual-pet game, utilizing the Nintendo 64's Voice Recognition Unit to let the players interact verbally with Pikachu. When the anime finished following the games' story with Ash's defeat in the Pokmon League in January 1999, it started a new season in a new region called the Orange Archipelago.

A major overhaul of the main game series occurred when Pokemon arrived on the Game Boy Advance on November 21, 2002 when Ruby and Sapphire Versions were released in Japan. Trainers found themselves in the southern land called Hoenn where 135 new Pokemon were waiting to be discovered. The games reached North America on March 18, 2003 and had many new features, the most prominent being Pokemon Contests, Double Battles, Pokemon Abilities and Natures for each Pokemon. Also introduced in these versions were more types of weather and two new villain teams, Team Magma and Team Aqua..

The anime began a new series, Advanced Generation series, which started in Japan on the same day as the release of the games and reached North America almost a year later. A great deal was changed in this series, including the introduction of a new main character, May, based on her game counterpart.

There are several generations of Pokemon, and there is still future generations to come. When the world changes, so does the world of Pokemon. 2016 marks the 20th anniversary of Pokemon, and will be celebrated by the re-release of the original Generation I core series games on the Nintendo 3DS's. There are currently six generations of Pokemon, and over this time period, there are many games, including spin offs, along with anime, movies, manga, a Trading Card Game, music, and a musical.

Book Review : Dawn and Sunset - A Tale of the Oldest Cities in the Near East

By S. Marie Vernon

Dawn and Sunset is a compelling Tale of the Oldest Cities of the Near East written by amateur historian and Israeli high school English teacher, Michael Baizerman. It's clear, Baizerman has spent countless hours researching and documenting this work. He has compiled minute details of everyday life of the inhabitants of the old world known as Mesopotamia and the cradle of civilization. The oldest cities encompassed the Persian Gulf area and were referred to as Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian and Assyrian regions. The Mesopotamia area today is known as Eastern Turkey, IRAQ, Kuwait, Baghdad, Iran and Northern Syria. The Greek meaning of Mesopotamia is, "land between two rivers." The twin rivers, the Tigris and Euphrates nourished Mesopotamia and made it possible for nomadic tribes to begin to cultivate the land for agriculture and eventually settle into communal villages where life as we know it began. Then much changed over the course of time. A lot of historical ground is covered in the many millenniums referenced with some emphasis on the third and fourth millennia BCE.

This work may be more than A Tale, perhaps it's a social study of our earliest ancestors? Perhaps it's closer to a documentary of facts, yet facts that are sometimes verified through myths, legends and the poetry of that millennium? Baizerman blazes on undaunted by the scarcity of information for some periods and events. He gathers his content from different angles to expose discrepancies and biases for what they were. If there is no documentation to support the claim he will pursue other avenues; he will find a hieroglyphic, a poem or an architectural marker of that time period so his points are well documented. The author himself says it best, "only artists and scholars are entitled to examine our history through a magnifying glass with inexhaustible vigor," which he does very well in creating this educational volume called Dawn and Sunset.

The Gods drove every decision in the ancient world. Temples attested to their glory and power. In the beginning, the Temples controlled the economic life of a community. They were central to all the regions and the many Gods were worshipped and honored constantly. Life was a battle, a consistent struggle with the hostile land and various populations of people. Irrigation and farming allowed for communal villages to give way to more complex societies with district states. Then pristine cities became early empires and these gave way to dynasties with corruption and exploitation that would bring in the Dark Ages and the eventual collapse of this early civilization that had been "two thousand turbulent years in the making." The temples fell to government rule and general's built extravagant palaces to display power and demand respect whether they deserved it or not. Many great leaders and warriors would rise and fall. Some were virtuous and some were not. War was inevitable and peace was all but nonexistent.

Though it all, writing, language and technological advancement prevailed; metals, ceramics and new building materials enhanced and changed their way of life forever. New transportation routes and foreign trade changed the landscape, social classes, and the expectations of the people. Division of labor and other inequities emerged that would lead to more wars and the eventual demise of a once glorious nation known as Mesopotamia. From pre-civilization to civilization to its very downfall, this book delivers a lot as each chapter is organized and packed with great detail about the grueling and difficult historical times between the Dawn and Sunset of Mesopotamia- A Tale of the Oldest Cities of the Near East. Ironically, through this writing we can see many parallels of modern day society as it faces some of the same indignities and dilemmas of this historical period.

After Dawn and Sunset author Michael Baizenman emerges with a new book and is already writing it. It's about the attitude of the Latin West to the East on the eve of the Age of Discovery. Both books should appeal to history lovers and educators who like a dedicated spirit of inquiry and documented exposure of facts that may not be so factual. Of course, any differences in opinion, by this author is well researched, well documented and well written. These volumes are sure to be a handy resource for any educator who would like that little extra detail when it comes to the history of ancient civilizations.

S. Marie Vernon is a book and product reviewer who has her own blog at The Write Review. http://smariev.blogspot.com and you may also find her work at Pacific Book Review. http://www.pacificbookreview.com
