There are people out there who are debating whether blogging is still useful these days given the dominance of social media.

The fact is that whether you are a small Internet marketing business, or a large corporation, blogging is an important element in your Internet marketing strategy.



Here are 4 reasons you still must have a blog:

- Get your brand to a leadership position in your niche

- Improve your customer loyalty

1. Generate Traffic to Your Website:

Use your blog to offer quality content to educate your customers and prospects.

Your blog should be the center for all content and social activities.

You may be promoting your business on Facebook, Twitter and other social media, but the starting point, the anchor for your content should be your blog.

Add links with appropriate pictures, of your blog posts to social media pages. Provide your social media contacts a reason to click your links back to your website.

Blogging on a regular schedule about issue related to your business will help educate and inform your customers about important issues related to your keywords.

When you post quality content in your niche you offer authoritative content which displays your knowledge and skills for your business.
